Adele and Sian founded Sweep Sisters to prove that thorough, professional chimney care doesn't have to come from a trade stuck doing things the old way. As a female-led team, we combine proper expertise with a clean, careful approach and exceptional customer service.
We sweep everything from Victorian terraces in Chelmsford and Colchester to modern stoves in Brentwood and Georgian townhouses in Hertford. When you book, the team you speak to is the team that turns up.
Every visit follows the same routine: dust sheets down, vacuum running, a full sweep, a smoke test, and a HETAS certificate for your insurer. If we spot a problem, we show you photos and explain your options. There's no pressure.

How a visit works
Book
Send the form or call 0330 133 2121. We confirm the date, the price and what you need to do before we arrive.
Sweep and check
Dust sheets down and vacuum running. We sweep the flue, check the stove or fireplace, and smoke-test the chimney.
Certificate and advice
You get a sweeping certificate for your insurer, plus photos and a quote for anything we think needs fixing.

How much does a chimney sweep cost?

Do I need a sweep or a full inspection?
If your fire or stove is in regular, trouble-free use, a standard sweep is usually enough. If you've just moved in, haven't used the chimney for a while, or have noticed smoke, smells or poor draw, a sweep plus CCTV inspection is the safer place to start.
